Mrs. Catherine Taveras, Mathematics teacher at IHA, graduated cum laude from Manhattan College with a Bachelor of Science degree. She majored in adolescent education with a concentration in mathematics.

 

Mrs. Taveras spent three years teaching Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II at a missionary school in the Turks & Caicos Islands. "I am excited to guide young women on this journey of faith and learning," she said. "I hope to instill in them the same love for math and learning that motivates me."
