Mrs. Berta Roldan, Spanish teacher and Spanish Club moderator, received a B.S. degree in business administration/management and an M.A. degree in Spanish language and literature, both from Montclair State University. She holds a New Jersey Standard Teaching Certificate for Spanish and also has completed AP Spanish Workshops at Drew University. She is a member of the New Jersey Chapter of the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese, the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages, and the Foreign Language Educators of New Jersey. She has been teaching at IHA for twenty years.
Mrs. Roldan said she loves teaching at IHA because she has the privilege of educating and stimulating the minds and souls of young women. She enjoys broadening her students' vision of the world by teaching a foreign language. Mrs. Roldan is also the proud mother of an IHA alumna, Class of 2014.
