Mrs. Emily Fernandez, English teacher, received a B.A. From Rider University with a double major in secondary education and English literature and a minor in fine arts/theater.

Mrs. Fernandez taught in public school for three and a half years before joining the IHA faculty. She said she loves working in a faith-based community because she grew up in Catholic school--an environment that she feels both challenges and nurtures its students. "My grandmother was a Catholic school teacher for 30 years," Mrs. Fernandez said, "and I know that she would be really proud of this journey that I am on here at IHA."
