Mrs. Melissa O'Sullivan, director of college counseling, also serves as the moderator of Peer Mentors and the National Honor Society. She has a B.A. degree and an M.A. degree from Sacred Heart University and worked for seven years as the assistant dean of undergraduate admissions at a Connecticut university.
Mrs. O'Sullivan is a member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling, the NJ Association for College Admission Counseling, and the Bergen County School Counselor Association. She visits 8-10 college campuses per year, in addition to attending the National College Counseling Association Conference and the New Jersey State Conference.
Mrs. O'Sullivan has been president of the NJACAC twice and continues to hold various other positions on the executive board. She has been at IHA for more than a decade and said she feels privileged to work with the students, faculty, and staff.
