Mrs. Maria Daly-Valls is a Spanish, French, and Italian teacher at Immaculate Heart Academy. She is also moderator of the Italian Honor Society, the World Language Club, and the Italian Club. Mrs. Maria Daly-Valls has worked at IHA for more than ten years. She received a B.A. degree in Spanish language and literature from Columbia University and an A.A. in modern languages from Bergen Community College. She also has her New Jersey Teacher Certification.
Mrs. Daly-Valls has a diploma in translation studies, English to Spanish, from City University in London; a diplôme de Langue Française, from L’Aliance Française in Spain; and an English Proficiency diploma from Cambridge University, Cambridge, U.K. She is also an experienced medical interpreter.
She said one of the things she loves most about working at IHA "is the holistic approach to education, where the intellectual and spiritual human sides of the student are nurtured equally."
