Mrs. Ester Gennarini is an Italian teacher at Immaculate Heart Academy. Mrs. Gennarini was born and raised in Udine, Italy, in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region of northern Italy. She moved to the United States when she was 12 years old and later earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in teaching English as a second language. She earned both degrees from Saint Peter’s University, where she is also currently pursuing her doctoral degree.
Mrs. Gennarini previously taught at Good Shepherd School and at a missionary school in Turks and Caicos. As she had to overcome the difficult task of learning a new language when she moved to the United States, she is now passionate to help others in their pursuit of learning Italian.
Mrs. Gennarini is excited to be a part of the community at Immaculate Heart Academy and said, “Not only am I passionate about education, but I also want to encourage my students to know God and to believe in his goodness and in his loving plan for each one of them. I am honored to be part of this amazing community.”
