Ms. Kearsten Powers, MS, LAT, ATC is IHA's athletic trainer. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science with clinical and pre-professional concentration and a Master of Science degree in athletic training, both from Montclair State University.
Past clinical assignments include Montville Township High School, Montclair State University, Northern Highlands Regional High School, and Cedar Grove High School. "I am very excited to get to know the students and help them in any way I can!" Ms. Powers said. "I also hope to educate the students on the field of sports medicine, and possibly inspire some to take on this career path, just like my own high school athletic trainer did."
