The Global Society Club aims to spread cultural and historical knowledge about different countries to club members and students throughout IHA. Each month, the club hosts mini-lessons (with games, food, and music) to learn more about a chosen country and the people who live there, diversifying students’ perspectives of the world. The Global Society Club also works with TEEEM, a local non-profit organization, that teaches students about global issues and humanitarianism through empathy and entrepreneurship. With this organization, the club sponsors TEEEM’s Ugandan site, Nyaka Primary School, and volunteers by reading stories and organizing donation drives. Join this club if you want to expand your global understanding and empathy.
