The IHA Winter Track and Field Team had another spectacular season, filled with championships and school records. For the fourth consecutive year, IHA clinched both the League Championships and County Relay Championships. Abby Romero ’24 was awarded the Most Outstanding Performer of the The County Relays, a meet which includes every school in Bergen County.  In addition, Abby broke school records in both the long and triple jump, and teamed up with Piper Portacio ’25, Paige Burgess ’25, and Sophia Reina Dtichfield-Agboh ’24 to break the school record in the 4x200 at The Nike Indoor Nationals.  The 4x400 team of Elizabeth Burgess ’25, Paige Burgess ’25, Veronica Costello ’25, and Piper Portacio ’25 also placed 6th in the Emerging Elite 4x400 and recorded the second best 4x400 time in North Jersey. Additionally, Julia Sobilo ‘25 placed fourth at the Non Public A State Championships. The IHA Winter Track and Field Team was also named the Non-Public Bergen County Team of the Year for the 2023-24 season. Congratulations to IHA Track and Field!
