Textbooks and Transportation

Textbooks

Immaculate Heart Academy provides textbooks and e-texts for the majority of classes. However, most classes also require supplemental books that must be purchased prior to the start of the school year. In an effort to ensure families are able to purchase the book at the lowest price, we are providing a list of book titles, ISBN numbers, and suggested vendors.

TRANSPORTATION

Busing

Immaculate Heart Academy offers regional transportation through private IHA busing from Bergen, Essex, Hudson, and Passaic counties. This includes bus routes in Hoboken, Bloomfield, Clifton, Rutherford, Rochelle Park, Lodi, Oakland, Franklin Lakes, Glen Rock, and Ridgewood. Please note that the list of towns is subject to change from year to year as we are expanding our bus routes every year to assist families with arranging transportation for those students whose towns do not provide busing. We plan to expand our routes for the 2025-26 school year to include regional stops in the southeast section of Bergen County.

Busing transportation to Immaculate Heart Academy is also determined by students' towns/school districts. Some towns/districts provide busing, some reimburse for travel costs, and others do not provide any kind of transportation or reimbursement. Please contact the Board of Education in your local school district for transportation inquiries. In January of each year, a bus form is mailed home to be returned by February 1.
