Catherine educated high school girls on protecting themselves during the vulnerable years of college, and taught them about the steps involved to report sexual assault. Additionally, she ran an elementary school class on female empowerment.
Catherine believes this will help the problem of sexual assault, as it teaches young girls at an impressionable age that respect for all individuals is important, and that being a girl does not lessen them in any sense. At IHA, Catherine was an active member of Christian Service Board, Eagle Ambassadors, the National Honor Society, and Peer Mentoring. She also made the dean’s list at Villanova University for the Fall 2017 semester.
