With a score of 97%, ​IHA was recognized at the Hackensack University Medical Center's Seat Belt Challenge as one of eight schools that had a student seat belt compliance rate of more than 90%.

 

A special congratulations to Traffic Safety Squad members, Gabi Turi'18, Alexandra Daugherty'19, and Aileen Deegan'19, for collaborating to create a t-shirt logo for the Hackensack University Medical Center Safe Teen Driving Challenge. The IHA design took first place for the second year in a row! The phrase "Stop the Texts, Stop the Wrecks" will be printed on t-shirts distributed to Bergen County high schools that have clubs that promote driver safety.
