Sophomores Emma Hammer'18, center, and Heather Farrell'18, right, were chosen as the 2016 IHA Hugh O'Brian Youth (HOBY) Leadership Seminar Ambassadors after receiving outstanding recommendations from the IHA faculty. After having an amazing experience last year as one of the IHA ambassadors, Lauren Foote'17, left, applied and was accepted by HOBY to be on the junior staff this year.
The IHA students spent a weekend in early June at Monmouth University attending the New Jersey HOBY Leadership Seminar. The HOBY vision is to motivate and empower individuals to make a positive difference within our global society, through understanding and action, based on effective and compassionate leadership. HOBY seeks to inspire and develop our global community of youth and volunteers to a life dedicated to leadership, service, and innovation. Congratulations to Emma, Heather, and Lauren.
