A year ago this fall, IHA introduced the Soaring Eagle Award to the school community. This award, presented by Principal Patricia Molloy, recognizes students who demonstrate excellence and work to the best of their ability in a particular discipline. These students have more than just an impressive GPA; they are students who set themselves apart by embodying the ideals of an IHA education. They are enthusiastic, compassionate, creative, and intelligent young women dedicated to personal and academic growth. Every quarter, a teacher from each academic department nominates one student.
On November 10, 2014, Quarter One Soaring Eagle Awards were given to: Emily Marie Bommer’18 (Physical Education), Lindsey Carpenter’15 (The Arts), Grace Tuohey-Kay’18 (Drama), Rebecca Coronel’16 (Technology), Nicole Kalabalik’16 (Business), Caitlin Boswell’15 (Social Studies), Estee Spyropoulos’16 (Mathematics), Allison Klein’16 (Science), Sarah McLoughlin’18 (World Languages), Amanda Lee’17 (English), and Christine Jacob’17 (Religion). Congratulations to our Quarter One Soaring Eagles!
