On March 10, 2025, IHA celebrated both International Women’s Day and our Day of Giving. When students first arrived at school, they were greeted with signs reminding them that at IHA, every day is women's day! 

The morning started with an inspiring assembly for students and staff as Anne Marie Kelly '25, STUCO president, began with a message to her fellow sisters about how they are all making positive contributions to society. The IHA community was thrilled to also welcome back alumna Wendy Plaut '94 on this uplifting day to speak to the student body about the importance of empowering women. Wendy, who is currently senior vice president of Music & Celebrity Talent for Paramount Media Networks and MTV Entertainment Studios, stayed after the assembly to talk with students at a breakfast provided by the IHA administration, office of advancement, and Parents’ Club.

Later in the afternoon of International Women's Day, IHA also hosted our annual Day of Giving Phone-a-Thon. We are incredibly appreciative of all our student callers who did such an impressive job calling the IHA community. We are also grateful for our generous alumnae, current families, parents of alumnae, faculty, staff, board members, and friends who donated to support our amazing students.
