On Tuesday, December 10, 2024, IHA will host a Bookfair at Barnes & Noble in Paramus from 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
Author Julia Hotz (daughter of former IHA teacher George Hotz) will be signing her new book, The Connection Cure, from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Julia's book explores, "a better way of thinking about medicine and healing." Instead of solely pharmaceutical prescriptions, Julia offers readers scientific evidence on why "social prescriptions" of movement, nature, art, service, and belonging can be a more effective treatment for the world's most common ailments, including depression, anxiety, and chronic pain.
