Members of IHA’s Black Culture Club created an impressive display in the school’s main lobby for the month of February to celebrate Black History Month. This year, the theme is Black Excellence: Achieving Greatness and Establishing a Legacy. The featured women highlighted in the exhibit include, Josephine Baker, Coco Gauff, Michelle Obama, Claudette Colvin, Oprah Winfrey, Misty Copeland, and Beyoncé.
Thank you to the club members who curated the lobby display, especially executive board members: Ella Bosse, Cassandra George, Alayna Bellevue, and Amandagrace Smith; and club moderator and physical education teacher, Ms. Shemayne Williams.
