Service
Layla Libanan’23: Layla deserves to be recognized for her commitment to service and involvement at IHA. Not only does she perform academically, but she strives to be involved in the IHA community through her service. As a coordinator of music ministry for the Christian Service Board, she uses her musical talents to bring joy to others. Her willingness to give back to the IHA community does not go unnoticed!
Character
Marie Baldwin’23: Marie is an outgoing, hardworking, friendly person and a positive influence in the school community. She is involved at IHA through Mu Alpha Theta National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, and Math League. She also contributes by being an Eagle Ambassador and Peer Mentor. Her positive attitude and excitement to learn encourage others to participate in class and extracurricular activities.
Leadership
Mary-Kathryn Sweeney’23: Mary-Kate exemplifies all the qualities of a leader. Not only does she go above and beyond in every one of her classes, she is also a leader of many clubs. She is the president of both the Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society and the Irish Club, along with being the secretary of Christian Service Board and an Eagle Ambassador. Her willingness to step up and lead the community encourages others to get involved!
Scholarship
Johanna Murphy’23: Throughout her four years at IHA, Johanna has excelled both inside and outside the classroom. Not only is she committed to her studies, but she is also heavily involved in the IHA community. She is the Accents co-editor-in-chief, National Art Honor Society co-president, and Model U.N. vice president. She has also been involved in the orchestra, cross country, and track throughout her time at IHA. She is dedicated to her studies, which is evident through her participation in her many AP classes.
