Service
Olivia Toohey’23: Olivia has been dedicated to serving her community throughout her time at IHA. She serves the IHA community through Christian Service Board and by being a Eucharistic minister at school Masses. She is also a dedicated member of the IHA Lacrosse team, Future Doctors of America, and C.A.R.E. Olivia serves outside of IHA by leading the Our Lady of Mercy Big Sisters C.A.R.E. group, where she volunteers multiple times a week. Olivia’s dedication to helping others is seen through her many acts of service.
Leadership
Carolyn Sandt’23: When thinking of a person who exemplifies the qualities of a leader, Carrie is one of the first people that comes to mind. Not only is she a dedicated student, but she also steps up as a leader in many different activities at IHA. She is the president of the Photography Club, she assists with the sound at school Masses and theatre productions, and she has been a valuable member of IHA Soccer throughout her time at IHA. Carrie is an outstanding student who inspires others to work hard and get involved in the IHA community.
Scholarship
Katherine Deane’23: Katherine excels academically as a member of the STEM@theheart program. She regularly contributes to and unreservedly participates in her AP classes. Along with keeping up with her studies, Katherine also makes time to assist and tutor other students. She is a member of Math League and Science National Honor Society, and she is a National Merit® Commended Student.
Character
Brookelyn Talmadge’23: Brookelyn is a most definitely a positive influence on the IHA community. She manages her time well so that she is not only able to get her work done and excel as a volleyball player, but also help others with their work. She is dedicated to helping others in the community and makes time to tutor underclassmen. Brookelyn is kind to everyone she meets and is always putting others first. She works hard at everything she does and never leaves anything unfinished.
