Sixty-eight IHA student-artists were pleased to hear from the following distinguished alumnae working in various fields of art:

 

Vanessa Wenzel Rabe’98, project manager at a large architectural firm based in Austin, Texas; Riley O’Toole’21, a freshman at Syracuse University majoring in architecture; Karleena Pineda’21, a freshman at Champlain College majoring in game art and animation; Lindsey Carpenter’15, a recent graduate of a five-year architecture program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; Carmela Icarangal’20, a sophomore animation major at Maryland Institute College of Art; Blathnat Cannon’21, a freshman marketing major at College of Charleston; and Faith Trinker’17, a 2021 graduate of Syracuse University earning a degree in computer art and animation.

Discussions ranged from the newest technological developments in their fields to finding a good work-life balance. Thank you to all of our alumnae who presented and to Mrs. Lisa Encke P’20, director of the arts, and Ms. Patrizia Tersigni P’14, art teacher, for hosting the NAHS virtual event.
