Character
Katherine Young’22: Katherine is an optimist who always has a smile on her face and brings a positive attitude with her wherever she goes. She is a member of Cross Country and Varsity Spring Track & Field, in addition to the National Art Honor Society, National Honor Society, Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society, and Science National Honor Society. She is a well-rounded individual who embodies the characteristics of an IHA woman of valor.
Isabella Vaughn’22: When you think of Bella, the first thing that comes to mind is her positive attitude and constant smile. She regularly offers others her kind thoughts and words when given the chance. Bella has a respect for those around her and is responsible and trustworthy with whatever tasks are assigned to her. She shares her positivity with others in the IHA community in her activities such as heartTV, Junior State of America, Law Society, STUCO, and Eagle Ambassadors.
Service
Lily Valentin’22: Lily perfectly embodies the meaning of service at IHA. Lily is a member of the Animal Club, Business Club, C.A.R.E, Engineering Club, and the Robotics Club. She never stops helping others reach their potential and is always the first to volunteer. Her extensive work and enthusiasm in tutoring her sisters as a member of NHS, in addition to her countless hours fostering kittens, demonstrate how deeply committed she is to the wellbeing of others.
Mackenna Olsen’22: Mackenna is involved in serving her community outside of IHA as an EMT and continues her service among her IHA sisters by being a part of the Christian Service Board as the social justice chair. She is also a member of C.A.R.E. Mackenna is dedicated to helping others succeed within and beyond IHA through her NHS and Mu Alpha Theta tutoring. She is truly dedicated to IHA and her community.
Scholarship
Riley McGovern’22: Riley is an extremely hard worker who puts her all into everything she does. She is a member of STEM, Math League, Mu Alpha Theta, National Art Honor Society, National Honor Society, Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, Varsity Lacrosse, and the co-vice president of Mock Trial. Her academic intelligence in vigorous college-level courses throughout the years has shaped her into the born leader she is today.
Leadership
Jessica Boyd’22: Jessie has taken her place in the IHA sisterhood as a leader. While going above and beyond in all her classes and academic pursuits, she has taken the leadership role amongst her peers. Jessie is a leader in the clubs she is a part of such as Junior State of America, Eagle Ambassadors, heartTV, Kindness Above Malice, Law Society, and Made with Love.
